Assemblage

Nadja Djurovic Larsen is a visual artist who during the years continuously has been trained in a variety of genres of art. NDL has been taught by different artists in Denmark and abroad, among them Vera Miler (Belgrade), Zoran Miler (Belgrade), Petter Christensen (Odense), Hans Christian Hoff (Odense), Jens Uffe Rasmussen (Svendborg), Hans Christian Rylander (Bogø), Odense College of Education and the School of fine Arts Spectra (Odense).

During the last 15-20 years, NDL has been working intensively with assemblage technique, which is her preferred technique with a very personal expression. More information can be found in the artist’s CV.

In the early 20th century, Pablo Picasso introduced the first assemblages, and since then many artist have been working with the technique, among other, the Danish artist Vilhelm Lundstrøm and Henry Heerup, whose works are exhibited permanently at the art museum Louisiana near Copenhagen.

Assemblage art is a composition of three-dimensional objects on the image surface.
